Thanks to PROMO.io I am the proud owner of a brand new kindle 3g complete with wifi. I entered the contest on their site and received my kindle about a week after I submitted the signed affidavit. The Kindle itself has many features, including free internet browsing, the capability to play mp3s, and of course the storage of over 3,000 of your favorite books.

Here are a few notes of how each feature follows through.

Internet- This is a completely free service which is incredible. The browser functions moderately quickly as long as you use a site called Kinstant which provides sites designed for mobile devices. The Kindle permits users to go on any site they wish, but many sites are too complex to function at high speed on the reading device. Kinstant allows sites such as Facebook and Yahoo to function quickly and effortlessly.

Music- The music comes across very clearly on this device. I love the speakers on the Kindle, so it is not necessary to wear headphones at all times in order to listen to music or ebooks read aloud.

Books- The Kindle is designed to imitate the size and feel of an actual paperback book. This is purely amazing, and makes reading a lot easier. I enjoy the bookmark function, and the screen really works wonders because there is no glare to distract from the pages.

Dislikes-

I do not like that there is no light, but, one can be purchased to clip onto the Kindle, so that is a plus.

All in all this is a great item to own.
